Trade Workshops Series
The Victorian Government has partnered with Supporting and Linking Tradeswomen (SALT) to provide women and girls with the hands-on experience of working in non traditional occupations, through workshop demonstration days.
The Skill Women Workshops are a key component of the Non traditional Career Pathways initiative, under the Women’s Economic Participation Action Agenda 2013-15
Last week four Wallan Secondary College Students, Alysha Carter, Eilish Tweedie, Maddi Durham and Sarah Miles, attended a Women in Trade workshop at Seymour College. The girls were introduced to a range of trade skills and were able to speak to experienced tradeswomen.
