This 10‐day educational tour of Cambodia is specifically designed for students of Wallan Secondary College. The trip includes visits to Cambodia's bustling capital city of Phnom Penh, the magnificent temples of Angkor and Siem Reap.
As the trip is designed to be of an educational value, a significant component of the itinerary is concerned with the social and cultural understanding of Cambodia, in particular the ancient and recent history and the rapid social changes Cambodia is currently undergoing.
Significantly, the trip also includes a comprehensive service-learning program which will entail building a dwelling for an impoverished family.
Most importantly, this trip is also designed to be highly enjoyable and features several inclusions to provide students with a very memorable and fulfilling introduction to one of the most intriguing and friendly countries in Southeast Asia.
Any student in Year 11 or 12 in 2015 who is interested should see Ms Griffiths (Tour Co‐ordinator) or Ms Lasslett as soon as possible. Places for the 2015 are filling quickly after the success of the 2014 Tour to Vietnam.
