Our final Tally for this years Knit For Charity program is a massive 115 squares, 4 snoods and a baby blanket!
After a winter semester of snug knitting in year 9 Textiles classes and in front of the heaters on chilly monday lunchtimes, this years Knit for Charity comes to an end.
I'd like to take ths chance to thank all students who knitted squares and snoods whether it was in class or during Monday lunchtimes. Once again, Thanks for Cathy and Edna from Circle of Friends for helping me teach the year 9's to knit, and all of the very generous parents and community members who donated.
The giant bag of love filled warmth goes to Knit One Give One (KOGO) a melbourne based charity who delivers various hand knitted and crocheted items to those in need. Head over to their website to find out more about them and how to donate if your knitting needles don't stop over the summer!
'Till next year!
