Victorial Certificate of Applied Learning
The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) is a hands-on option for students in Years 11 and 12. The VCAL program provides our students with practical work-related experience, complimented by a range of real-world literacy and numeracy skills and the opportunities to build personal skills that pathway students towards gaining apprentiships, employment or further study at TAFE.
Victoria Certificate of Education
The Victorian Certificate of Education represents the consolidation of 11 years of study from P - 10. It is the typical pathway that the majority of students in Victoria take to completion their secondary education. The VCE provides a number of pathways to further study or training at university or TAFE and to employment. Varying from year to year depending on the needs of students, Wallan Secondary College customarily offers a range of VCE studies in the areas of The Arts, English, Humanities, Mathematics, Science and Technology.
